Sometimes, we feel like a pilot that has not idea of how to use the yoke. Its like we begin spiraling inside your head, plane heading downward with racing thoughts, pulling us down into anxiety, worry…depression. How do you pull yourself back into the cock pit, controlling your body, guiding it in the direction that you would like? Try this simple and easy technique to grab the yoke and regain control of your body and your mind: Close your eyes and take a deep breath. Shake out your arms and legs. Slowly, bring your awareness to your toes, then to your feet, and then your ankles. Slowly move your awareness up your body to your knees, thighs, then hips. Bring your attention to your core. Breathe. Bring awareness to your fingers, hands, elbows and shoulders. Take it slow. Now, roll your shoulders. Take a moment. Take a deep breath. Be still and feel gratitude for the stronger healthy body that supports you.
